Union Runs Away With Early Lead In Victory
Parsippany Pirates watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in a 12-7 loss to Union on Sunday. Union scored on a walk by 8, a double by 12, a double by 2, a single by 11, an error, and an error in the second inning.
Parsippany Pirates collected ten hits and Union had 11 in the high-scoring affair.
Union got things started in the second inning. 8 drew a walk, scoring one run.
Parsippany Pirates put up three runs in the third inning. Brian Corea and Pete Janiec all contributed in the big inning with RBIs.
3 got the start for Union. He allowed ten hits and seven runs over seven innings, striking out four.
Joe Cohen was on the mound for Parsippany Pirates. He lasted one and two-thirds innings, allowing six hits and nine runs while striking out one. Steve Naylor threw four and a third innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Parsippany Pirates defeated Union 6-5 thanks to a strong start. Parsippany Pirates scored on a single by Michael Heaney, a single by Pete Janiec, and a groundout by Tom Skyes in the first inning.
After Union scored one run in the top of the fourth, Parsippany Pirates answered with one of their own. Union scored when 5 singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.Parsippany Pirates then answered when Joe Cohen's sac fly scored one run for Parsippany Pirates.
Patrick Fishon led things off on the hill for Parsippany Pirates. He lasted six innings, allowing seven hits and five runs while striking out nine.
11 started the game for Union. He lasted four and two-thirds innings, allowing six hits and six runs while striking out four. 5 threw one-third of an inning in relief out of the bullpen.
Parsippany Pirates collected six hits on the day. Francisco Samuel, Heaney, and Janiec all collected multiple hits for Parsippany Pirates. Janiec, Heaney, and Samuel all had two hits to lead Parsippany Pirates.
1 went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Union in hits.

Parsippany Pirates lost the lead late in a 12-7 defeat to Jersey Crushers on Sunday. The game was tied at seven with Jersey Crushers batting in the bottom of the sixth when Matthew Randallsingled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs.
Despite the loss, Parsippany Pirates did collect ten hits in the high-scoring affair. Unfortunately, Jersey Crushers had five hits on the way to victory.
In the first inning, Parsippany Pirates got their offense started. Tom Skyes drove in one when he singled.
Parsippany Pirates scored three runs in the fifth inning. Parsippany Pirates batters contributing to the big inning included Michael Heaney, Francisco Samuel, and Steve Naylor, who each had RBIs in the inning.
Serritella toed the rubber for Parsippany Pirates. He surrendered 12 runs on five hits over six innings, striking out seven.
Parsippany Pirates collected ten hits. Samuel, Heaney, and Skyes all collected multiple hits for Parsippany Pirates. Skyes, Heaney, and Samuel each managed two hits to lead Parsippany Pirates.
Randall went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Jersey Crushers in hits. Jersey Crushers didn't commit a single error in the field. Jphn Kelly had the most chances in the field with one.

Sunday's game against Jersey Crushers was a heartbreaker for Parsippany Pirates, as they lost the lead late in a 13-10 defeat. Jersey Crushers was down 8-7 in the top of the seventh inning when Daniel Garcia doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs.
Brian Corea drove in four runners in the loss. Corea drove in runs on a groundout in the second, a single in the fourth, and a single in the seventh.
Parsippany Pirates took an early lead in the first inning. Parsippany Pirates scored one run when Michael Heaney singled.
Parsippany Pirates put up three runs in the fourth inning. The offensive onslaught by Parsippany Pirates was led by Corea and Pat Kivlon, all driving in runs in the frame.
Matthew Randall toed the rubber for Jersey Crushers. He surrendered ten runs on 14 hits over seven innings, striking out five.
Joe Cohen led things off on the hill for Parsippany Pirates. He lasted six innings, allowing seven hits and five runs while striking out seven. Kivlon threw one inning in relief.
Parsippany Pirates racked up 14 hits in the game. Corea, Patrick Fishon, Cohen, Heaney, and Kivlon all managed multiple hits for Parsippany Pirates. Corea led Parsippany Pirates with three hits in four at bats.
Jersey Crushers collected 12 hits. Angel Garcia, Gil Dejardens, and Jason Burgos all had multiple hits for Jersey Crushers. Garcia went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Jersey Crushers in hits.

John Giacchi was brilliant on the mound on Sunday, as he threw a no-hitter to lead Parsippany Pirates past bergen county buzz 10-0.
Parsippany Pirates scored three runs in the sixth inning. Parsippany Pirates's offense in the inning came from a triple by Ariel Silverio and an error on a ball put in play by Pat Fishon.
Giacchi was on the hill for Parsippany Pirates. He lasted five innings, allowing zero hits and zero runs while striking out six.
Parsippany Pirates had seven hits in the game. Steve Naylor and Silverio all managed multiple hits for Parsippany Pirates. Silverio and Naylor each collected two hits to lead Parsippany Pirates. Parsippany Pirates was sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Giacchi made the most plays with four. Parsippany Pirates stole ten bases during the game as three players stole more than one. Francisco Smuel led the way with two.
